The Associated Press reports that scientists predict wind turbines could produce 7% of US energy by 2022. United States scientists also express concern, however, about the possible impacts on birds, bats, and other species. For birds, the highest risk is apparently faced by birds of prey and songbirds that migrate in darkness. Many people have reservations about wind farms for these and other reasons. What's your opinion?
